Air Force Adventure

If you’re aged between 3 and 12 or simply young at heart then this experience will give you a chance to see if you’ve got what it takes to be an Air Force Pilot! Take this 60 minute tour to see areas of the Museum not normally open to the general public and maybe even ‘graduate’ with your own set of Air Force Museum ‘Pilot’s Wings’. The Tour starts in the main Museum with some drill training then heads out behind the scenes to 3 hanger where pilots take part in a flight crash and jump out of the Andover aircraft onto the crash matts. Here in 3 hanger pilots complete a savenger hunt and build a paper plane before heading back to the main Museum to recieve their pilots wings. Tours are available on weekends and during school & public holidays. Tours cost $8 per child, $5 for accompanying adults, Family of 2 adults and up to 3 children is $25 and 3 and under are free. All children receive their own complimentary ‘Pilot’s Log Book’. The Air Force Adventure runs daily at 11:15am on weekends, public holidays and during the school holidays. |
