Help and Information

For all general enquires and for more information on what is available at the Museum, visit the Welcome Desk, located in the atrium by the main entrance.

Tuck Shop Café

The Tuck Shop Café, located in the atrium, provides great coffee with a daily selection of fresh cabinet food and a bistro menu.

Offering free Wi-Fi and an array of comfortable spaces, including plenty of space for prams and wheelchairs, the Tuck Shop Café is ideal for a relaxing break during your Museum visit, business lunches, ‘mums and bubs’ coffee groups or just a social catch-up.

Open 9.30am to 4.30pm daily.

Museum Shop

The Museum gift shop, located in the atrium next to the Welcome Desk, is well-stocked with a variety of aviation-themed gifts and souvenirs for all ages. Come in and visit us or shop online. All proceeds from our shop sales go towards helping care for our collection and supporting free admission.

Disability Access wheelchair

The Air Force Museum welcomes visitors of all abilities. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding your visit. We can offer:

– designated parking spaces

– free wheelchair and walking frame use

– wheelchair accessible bathrooms

– education programmes and tours tailored to your individual needs or requirements

Family Areas

The Air Force Museum of New Zealand is the ideal place for a family day out, with plenty to engage both children and adults.  We also offer:

– Baby changing facilities (located in the wheelchair accessible bathrooms)

Hands-on exhibitions and displays

– A children’s play area (located upstairs)

Museum hunts (available from the Welcome Desk)
