It is our sad duty to announce that our Director, Thérèse Angelo MNZM, has passed away following a long, and brave, fight with illness.

Thérèse has left an indelible mark on our Museum in her 31 years here. Her loss will be deeply felt amongst our team, as well as so many who knew and worked with her across the RNZAF, and museum and heritage sectors.

Our love and thoughts are with her family at this very difficult time.

Her funeral will be held in the Conference and Events Hall at the Air Force Museum at 2 pm on Tuesday 23 October 2018. This will be a public service, but please note that the Museum will be closed to general visitors from 12 pm - 5 pm that day.

The funeral will also be streamed live on our website from 2 pm.
