COVID-19 (NOVEL CORONAVIRUS)

We are currently at Alert Level 1

This means that all our interactive spaces, including the Mosquito Mission simulator and 'Captured' exhibition are open for visitors to enjoy once again. To ensure the safety and well-being of our staff and visitors, we are continuing our heightened cleaning regime, and hand sanitiser stations will still be in place around the Museum, which we encourage people to make use of.

As per Government recommendations, we encourage all visitors to scan in via the COVID tracer app. QR codes are available at the Museum entrance and in our Administration Headquarters building. A manual form is available at our Welcome Desk, and in Headquarters for those who do not have the app.

Our Behind the Scenes tours are operating, and there are no restrictions on group visits, including Birthday PartiesEducation visits and Holiday Programmes.

For further guidance on Alert Level 1, please refer to the official New Zealand Government COVID-19 website.
