Christchurch Girls’ High School Art Exhibition

Christchurch Girls' High School Art Exhibition

Exploring wartime history through art

Don't miss the artwork of Christchurch Girls’ High School 2019 Year 11 art students on display now at the Museum until 14 February 2020.

For the past 15 years the Air Force Museum has provided the Christchurch Girls’ High Year 11 students with Museum tours, lectures and exploration time to research the Level 1 art theme of war time history. These visits provide students with the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the theme in order to create their artwork. Each student researches and approaches the different aspects of war, and it’s always fascinating to see the different media and interpretations on the topic.
