The Force Behind the Uniform

Photographs by Tracey Sexton

This photographic exhibition explores the importance of civilians in our Air Force. It documents the vital roles that the civilian workforce undertake in the successful operation of New Zealand’s main military air base at Ohakea. The images, taken by portrait photographer Tracey Sexton, capture some essential members of the Ohakea community in an environment that expresses who they are and what they do in their chosen field of work at the Base.

On display in the Caldwell Gallery, Level 1.

Open daily from 9.30am to 4.30pm (except Christmas Day)
Entry to the Museum is free, donations are appreciated.
