Overview
The Air Force Museum is a great place to bring early childhood education groups, with lots of opportunities for fun, sensory learning.
For pre-schoolers under 4 years of age we suggest a booked Museum Visit & Tour, where we can supply a simple picture-based scavenger hunt to tick off items as you explore the Museum, with the option of a tour to our Reserve Collection area and Andover aircraft. In these areas, there is the chance to climb inside real aircraft, which is always exciting for little ones!
Kindergarten (4 year old) groups can be booked into our more structured education programmes (see Early Childhood main menu). These programme bookings include time for Museum exploration and scavenger hunts as well.
Our education programmes are free of charge but, as the Air Force Museum is a registered charitable trust, koha (donations) are gladly accepted.
