Overview
We offer a broad range of primary education programmes, all closely linked to and designed for the New Zealand School Curriculum.
Main curriculum links are displayed in each programme description, and our Education Officer, Chris Davey, is also happy to discuss other possibilities in order to meet your requirements. While some programmes are listed as being suitable for a wide range of year-levels, programme content can differ markedly depending on your group’s age, levels of prior knowledge and the specific learning outcomes required. All programme bookings can allow time for Museum exploration, and scavenger hunts and worksheets are provided.
Most of our education programmes are free of charge, except for certain specialised programmes, subject to the Education Officer’s review.
As the Air Force Museum is a registered charitable trust, koha (donations) are gladly accepted.
