These unique, hand-crafted brooches are made in Nelson by Martin de Ruyter.
“I use tools passed down to me from my grandfather, great grandfather and great-great grandfather to create stylised poppies from used brass bullet shells.”
Each brooch is made from .223 bullet casing.
This type of jewellery is sometimes known as trench art.
Available in 4 different colours.
Size – approx. 3.5 cm x 3.5 cm.
