DISCOVER THE STORY BEHIND ANZAC DAY IN A UNIQUE AND RELEVANT ENVIRONMENT
Overview
Suitable for Y4-8 students, but can be adapted for younger students if required.
Programme content is tailored to the requirements of your group and can include the significance of the Museum’s Roll of Honour, a classroom session on the events at Gallipoli, making poppies, discussing and handling real medals, and even a visit to our Pacific Simulator room to experience the conditions that our ANZAC airmen and ground crew faced in the Pacific during World War Two.
